MatchesAvesh Khan is an Indian fast bowler who utilizes raw pace, often clocking around 145 km/h, to extract bounce and aggressively hit the deck. He first gained national prominence during the 2016 ICC Under-19 Men's World Cup, where he finished as India's leading wicket-taker with 12 dismissals. Internationally, he has secured 27 wickets in 25 T20Is with best figures of 4/18 against South Africa. He made his Indian Premier League (IPL) debut with the Royal Challengers Bengaluru in 2017 before establishing himself during a four-season stint with the Delhi Capitals. His standout season came in 2021, where he finished as the tournament's second-highest wicket-taker with 24 dismissals. Following a highly productive 2024 campaign with the Rajasthan Royals, claiming 19 wickets in 16 matches, he returned to the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) for the 2025 season, securing 13 wickets in 13 matches.\r\n\r\nLSG officially retained him for ₹9.75 Crore ahead of the 2026 season.
