A promising all-rounder from Haryana, Nishant Sindhu is a composed left-handed batter with handy slow left-arm orthodox bowling in his armoury. He first shot to recognition in 2018-19, when he amassed 572 runs and picked up 23 wickets in the U-16 Vijay Merchant Trophy, leading Haryana to the title. Sindhu further enhanced his reputation as a key member of India’s ICC Men’s U19 World Cup-winning squad in 2022, where he picked up six wickets in five matches and also scored a half-century. His steady rise in domestic cricket earned him a stint with Chennai Super Kings across the 2023 and 2024 seasons, where he benefited from the experience of sharing a dressing room with MS Dhoni and Ravindra Jadeja, among others. Gujarat Titans secured him for INR 30 Lakh at the 2025 Mega Auction. Yet to make his IPL debut, Sindhu was retained for the 2026 season, reflecting the franchise’s long-term faith in his potential.
