MatchesMusheer Khan is a highly rated Indian all-rounder who operates as a technically sound right-handed top-order batter and a highly effective slow left-arm orthodox spinner. Hailing from a prominent cricketing family as the younger brother of Sarfaraz Khan, Musheer possesses a remarkable "big-game" temperament and the ability to anchor an innings while seamlessly shifting gears across formats. He first shot to global prominence during the 2024 ICC Under-19 Men's World Cup. Emerging as one of the tournament's standout performers, he amassed 360 runs, including two spectacular centuries against New Zealand and Ireland, and claimed seven wickets, rightfully earning a spot in the ICC Team of the Tournament.Transitioning to the senior domestic circuit for Mumbai, Musheer quickly established himself as a generational talent in red-ball cricket. Weeks after turning 19, he shattered Sachin Tendulkar's long-standing record to become the youngest Mumbai batter ever to score a century in a Ranji Trophy final. He carried this monumental form into the Duleep Trophy, announcing his arrival for India B with a marathon knock of 181. In the Indian Premier League (IPL), Musheer earned his maiden contract when the Punjab Kings (PBKS) acquired him for his base price of ₹30 Lakh during the 2025 auction. Recognizing his immense ceiling and versatile skillset, PBKS officially retained him as a core part of their squad ahead of the 2026 season. Under the current setup, he provides PBKS with a vital domestic spin-bowling all-rounder option who can seamlessly slot into the top or middle order.
