Rovman Powell comes from the land of power-hitters that includes Chris Gayle and Andre Russell and he fits right in. A lower middle-order enforcer, Powell thrives in the finishing role, relying on brute power and clean hitting to take games away in a matter of overs. With over 100 T20Is and more than 300 T20 appearances, Powell has built a reputation as a global T20 force. He has also led West Indies in the shortest format, with his standout knock being a 107 off 53 balls against England in January, 2022. Just weeks after that innings, Delhi Capitals secured him for INR 2.75 Crore in the 2022 mega-auction, where he enjoyed his most sustained TATA IPL run, featuring in all 14 league games and scoring 250 runs at a strike rate of 149.7. Having first been picked by Kolkata Knight Riders in 2017, KKR bought him back in the Mega Auction in 2025 as Russell's back up for INR 1.5 Crore. With Russell retired from IPL now, KKR retained Powell for 2026.
