Left-arm pacer Syed Khaleel Ahmed is known for his effectiveness with the new ball. He brings aggression and energy to his team. He previously played for Sunrisers Hyderabad and Delhi Capitals in the TATA IPL. His breakthrough season came in IPL 2019, where he scalped 19 wickets in just nine matches for SRH. Khaleel also has international experience under his belt, having played in ODIs as well as T2OIs. He was picked up by CSK for INR 4.8 crore ahead of TATA IPL 2025, making him one of their major signings during the Mega Auction. In what was an otherwise disappointing 2025 season for the five-time IPL champions, Khaleel was one of the bright spots with 15 wickets throughout the season and a best of 3/29. The experienced 28-year-old from Rajasthan will be one of the bowlers to watch out for in CSK colours in the 2026 season as they aim to get back to winning ways again.
