MatchesRahul Chahar is a leg spinner from Rajasthan who does not rely much on turn but on his skill to vary his pace and length to deceive the batters. He made his TATA IPL debut in 2017 but moved to Mumbai Indians in 2018, where he had some of his best years as a cricketer. Rahul played an integral role in MI’s title triumphs in 2019 and 2020, picking up 13 and 15 wickets, respectively, in those editions. He later moved to Punjab Kings in 2022 where he stayed for three seasons, before being a part of the Sunrisers Hyderabad set-up for IPL 2025. The 26-year-old, who has also represented India in both international limited-overs formats, made a big impact early on in his playing career. After playing just one match last season, Rahul will hope that a fresh start in CSK colours on the spin-friendly wickets in Chennai will yield positive results for him as well.
