Australian speedster Nathan Ellis has made a name for himself as a specialist in T20 cricket with a range of bowling variations at his disposal and ability to bowl under pressure. A smart operator, Ellis is a wicket-taker who can bowl in different phases of the game, and is best known for hurrying batters with his skiddy pace and lovely change of pace deliveries. Ellis is a regular for Australia in the limited-overs formats and since his T20I debut in August 2021, he has produced highly impressive numbers in the format with 55 wickets in 36 matches at an average of 17.78. He set the tone on his debut itself, becoming the first bowler in T20I history to pick up a hat-trick on debut. After four seasons with Punjab Kings, during which he picked up 18 wickets in 16 games, Ellis was snapped up by CSK for INR 2 Crore at the 2025 TATA IPL Mega Auction.
